How long will it take to get my GED?

  2. how committed you are

                           3.    how quickly you learn

          Get your GED?

          Go to college?

          Learn basic computer?

          Improve reading skills?

          Get a better job?

Why do I have to take tests?

Answer:

The first test you take will tell us where to start your studies.  It will tell us what you  already know and where you need more attention.

As you progress in your studies, you’ll take advancements tests from time to time, so we’ll know when to move you onward and upward.

Don’t let tests scare you!!

Our tests are used to help you get to that GED sooner rather than later.

And . . .

The more tests you take here, the more you get used to taking tests.  And the less nervous you will be when you go for the actual GED.

Will I have homework assignments?

with a troubled area.

Answer:

All the materials you need for your studies are provided by the center

Answer:

You will attend classes twice weekly: Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday.

That means if you miss a class (or several classes), you will need to see your teacher when returning and visit

the lab to catch up on missed instruction.

What if I have to miss a lot of classes?

Answer:

If you must, you can start again anytime, stop again anytime,

and come back anytime.  It’s always your choice.  We always have a pathway to your learning.
