Beginning
Adult Basic Education
Our Beg. ABE
program offers instruction in Adult Basic Education. Even if you’re not seeking a GED but want
to brush up
your language or math skills, we’re happy to assist. Julie Dailey is trained in beginning
adult basic
education
and is willing to work with you one-on-one to help you build your literacy
skills. Her goal is to make
learning

Language
Arts & Sciences
Mary Wells is the language teacher in our adult
education program. She instructs in
GED preparation and Adult
Basic Education, in language usage
, essay writing. and reading comprehension.
. Mary is always ready to help.
She follows a structured curriculum that focuses
on your specific needs, which makes learning easier and
more fulfilling.
She specializes in learning strategies, reading comprehension, and
basic language skills.

Math
Computation/Applied Math
Bill Baber is our mathematics instructor. He
teaches GED preparation and Adult Basic Education.
He instructs in areas of mathematics and statistics.
He is experienced and enjoys teaching. Approachable and informed, he makes
learning fun. He specializes in math computation, algebra, and geometry.

ESL: English as a Second Language
Our ESL program focuses on teaching English as a
Second Language. Our instructor, Bill Dailey, specializes in foreign
language and communications. His
classes are held with some flexibility to better fit diverse schedules. His
curriculum is focused and direct while allowing for the individual needs of
each student attending class.

Post-Secondary Preparation
Not only does our center offer instruction in
preparing for the GED, but we also offer help in preparing
for the American College Test and the Compass
test. What’s more, we can help you
get through the
college courses in which you’re currently enrolled. If you find yourself having more trouble
than you
thought in your college studies, we can help. We want to help! Our services are free, and learning
materials

Workplace Skills
Jobs are hard to find in
today’s world and hard to keep.
Employers are expecting more and more workplace skills. Many of them require a WorkKeys exam or a
KEC (Kentucky Employability Certificate) before considering you for
work. We can help you build these
