Elvis is gone, we’ll
forget him never But in our hearts he will be there
forever He gave us his songs,
and gave us his heart, When he died the whole world fell
apart. He was called the “King
of Rock and Roll” One of his songs was (Easy Come,
Easy Go) Elvis worshiped his
mother while she was on earth Only because, she was the one who
gave him birth There will never be a
singer who could take his place Even if you searched the world over
looking for a face One of his favorite
songs was (Are You Lonesome Tonight)
was never anymore alright. And to Elvis you
never walk alone. Elvis will walk with
Jesus to that Golden Throne Elvis will cross over
the ( to the Promised Land The Lord my God will
take him by the hand Elvis will stand
before Jesus in his (Blue Suede Shoes) And tell the world below (I’ll Never
Stop Loving You) Elvis is gone for evermore,
but there will be (peace in the valley) for him on Heaven’s
bright shore We’re all gonna miss
him with our hearts, and souls, but Elvis has already gone,
where we’re gonna go when the
trumpet blows Elvis is gone - but his music, and
memories will forever live on. |
